ELDERCARE SERVICES

We realized a long time ago the elder members of our community are an invaluable resource in building a better tomorrow. Our senior adult services make sure our clients continue to feel included in society, whether they are able to join us for group programs or require a more personal touch with visits to their homes.

> Adult Day Care Center/Shining Lights (the only adult day care program that     

    accepts visually impaired clients in northern NJ)

               -Designed to stimulate social interaction, help reduce isolation and loneliness

               -Promotes mental activity through exercise, music, arts and crafts, and discussion groups

               -Aims to prevent premature institutionalization and provides respite for caregivers

               -Services are available to any adult 60+ who lives in the community.

> Care Management for Homebound Elderly

                 -Do you need help with shopping, laundry, personal care, light house keeping, or home repairs? 

                 -Assistance applying for PAAD, SENIOR GOLD, HEAP (heating and cooling assistance)

                 -Assistance applying for Homecare programs such as JACC and CCPED

                 -Assistance applying for Veterans benefits and Alzheimer grants

                 -Caregiver counseling through NJ EASE

                 -Assistance with Meals On Wheels, Food Stamps and emergency good

                 -Information on Reverse Mortgages
